• Kayla tries to help “Nick” remember who he really is.. Steve. They head to Cincinnati to find out how he ended up there

August

• Steve chases Kayla back to Salem and coincides that her got to her. They have some fun playing darts, Steve meets Billie. Steve waivers on starting over with Kayla

September

• Steve is pulling away from Kayla and towards Billie

October

• Steve continues to pull away from Kayla and towards Billie.  Stephanie is in an race accident and Steve has a brief memory of her.  Kayla is disappointed he still has no memory of her.  Steve saves Kayla from a locked room while at the hospital visiting Stephanie. Once in the room they are poisoned with some gas through the vents.

November

• Kayla fights for her life in isolation as the family worries.  Steve pulls through with the antitoxin and helps keep Kayla alive. He pretends to have memories of her to make her think she has something to fight for.  Kayla flatlines, but Steve pulls her back with a kiss.  Steve continues to lie to her, but Steve doesn’t really remember.

December

• Steve continues to lie to Kayla, but she is catching on. She takes him to the cabin from their on the run days in hopes of either making him remember or letting him go. At the cabin, Steve remembers her and they are reunited and make love.  The have a reunited Christmas as Clay Aiken sings to them.

2007

January

• Steve and Kayla are reunited but Steve starts to have flashes with uncontrolled rage.  He has flashback to being tortured.  Stephanie says goodbye to Steve and Kayla.  Steve helps Shawn and Belle get out of town.

February

• Steve has a conforation with EJ and is put in jail.  His only way out is to get help with his flashes.    But, he breaks out before his treatment is over and confronts EJ.  Steve doesn’t want treatment.  One night after making love with Kayla, Steve has a flashback in his sleep and tries to strangle Kayla. She pulls him out of it before he can do any damage, but he wants to leave her before he really hurts her.    Under the power of EJ, Steve kidnaps John and has Kayla take out his kidney.

March

• Steve is arrested and put in physic ward for help.   There Kayla and Steve fight over his treatment and going after EJ.   He eventually escapes and gets Billie to help him get out of town.  Kayla and Marlena catch up to him and take him down and back to Salem.  Kayla decides with the help of Max, she is going to Italy to prove that Stefano got John’s kidney.

April

• Steve and Kayla still argue over how to handle the Dimera’s.  Steve tries to convince her by throwing her down on the bed.  That doesn’t work.  Kayla is later run off the road and Steve escapes to go see her.  He then goes after EJ.  Steve goes back to the psych ward as Stephanie comes back to town.   Kayla takes her to see Steve.

May

• Adrianne comes back to town to help Kayla with Steve.    Adrianne sneaks in to the ward to see Steve to try and reach him and break him out.   Kayla hires a “deprogrammer” to help Steve and a hotel room.  They have a heart to heart, but Steve is taken by EJ’s men.   Kayla goes after him as he heads to Tinda Lau under EJ’s orders to kill Bo.  Kayla reaches him there and does her own deprogramming.

June

• Steve comes back to Salem a new man.  He gets involved with Hope and Bo and goes undercover in the Dimera mansion.  Stephanie introduces Steve to her new boyfriend Jeremy Horton.

July

• Kayla comes back to Salem from her medical conference for the 4th of July.   Steve doesn’t take to Stephanie’s new boyfriend.  Kayla mentions wanting to have another child with Steve.

August

• Kayla finds a baby boy orphaned at the hospital and her and Steve decide to take him in and call him “Pocket”.   Stephanie is not happy about it.  Diaper derby.  Benjy goes missing and is found cut up with his kidney missing.  Steve goes ballistic when he finds it is going to Stefano.  Kayla leaves Pocket with Steve for the first time.

September

• Steve helps Bo “fake” kill Stefano.  When he is arrested, Kayla visits him at the station where she helps him eat an apple.   Stephanie goes missing after she is forced to jump from a plane with Max.  Kayla rushes to Vegas to look for her with Bo.  She finds her and Max in a cave.   Pocket first gets sick and Steve rushes him to the hospital.   Kayla catches Jeremy (who is now a fugitive) in their suite and Kayla has it out with Stephanie and Jeremy over Stephanie wanting to help him.   Meanwhile Steve is stabbed and comes back to the suite.  Steve finds Benjy dead in a grave they thought had Roman in it.

October

• Steve takes Stefano hostage for Roman.  He is arrested but later Stefano drops the charges.   Pocket gets sick again and Kayla takes him to the hospital where Hope supports her there.   Steve and Kayla learn that “Pocket” could potentially be Philip’s son.   John dies.  Steve and Kayla let Pocket go.  Steve and Kayla have a family talk with Stephanie.

November

• Everyone is trying to stop Sami from marrying EJ.  At the wedding, EJ is shot and Steve is acting suspicious.   Stephanie thinks she might be pregnant and once Steve finds the box for the test, Kayla lies and says it was hers.  They talk about having another baby.  Steve finds out it was Stephanie’s.   Belle and Shawn’s wedding goes on as Kayla is at home with Stephanie.  Steve and Bo confront Ford.

December

• Steve and Kayla decide to jump start the baby making in the Blues Mobile.   Then try later at home as they discuss having a baby and the risks involved.   Steve and Kayla share Hope’s birthday with her, where Kayla learns that Stephanie was raped by Ford.  Kayla spends Christmas at the hospital and Steve searches for Marlena.

2008

January

• Kayla and Steve start the new year off trying for a baby.  Jan 21st, “it’s my window” scene.  Stephanie tells Steve what happened between her and Ford Decker.  Adrianne says goodbye to Steve and Salem.

February

• Kayla and Steve head to Ireland to tell Bo some bad news and to take Pop over to see his sister.  While there, Kayla finds out she is pregnant.  Steve sees an old face.  On the plane ride home, the plane looses both pilots and cabin pressure.  Pop gives up his oxygen for his kids.  The plane crashes and everybody survives.  Back in Salem, they mourn the death of Pop.

March

• Kayla is helping Bo find a cure for him.  As she works at the hospital, Steve worries about her health and about his ex-girlfriend finding her.  The have a walk on the pier and remember their wedding. He gives her a break from the hospital with some lunch and love at home.

April

• Steve and Hope are held hostage at the Vitali compound. Meanwhile Kayla is having preterm labor pains, but her and Bo decide to go get Steve and Hope.

May

• Baby Boy Johnson is born!

June

• Steve and Kayla at hospital as Joe fights for his life.

July

• July 21st, Fall Out scenes. Steve and Kayla bring Joe home

August

• Bo & Hope Wedding, Hospital Lock down, First look at Joe Johnson.

September

• Steve & Kayla in park with Joe talking to Abe/Lexie. Kayla talks with Hope/Marlena at hospital. Kayla takes over as Chief of Staff and Steve helps the Police with Trent’s murder

October

• Caroline is arrested for Trent’s murder. Kayla is there for her.  Kayla gives Nicole and ultrasound.

November

• Steve and Kayla discuss Steve working as a PI and the case involved in the Mayors death. Kayla and Lexi talk

December

• Steve and Kayla make a little time for some fun at the pub. Kayla treats Bo at hospital for a fall he took

2009

January

• Kayla treats John at hospital. The Fab 4 say goodbye (not really) to John and Marlena at the pub as Bo’s starts to have visions.

February

• Kayla is taken hostage and is shot by Hope at the hospital. Steve is there for her as she has surgery. Cute family scene with Joe and Stephanie. The End…..
