Stephen Surprises Kyle Brandt on SoapTalk

Kyle Brandt (Philip #2 on Days) was a huge Steve and Kayla fan. Soaptalk surprises him with the chance to meet Stephen in the green room.
Transcript of the Promo:
“It’s a SoapNet surprise meeting for Soap rookie, Kyle Brandt and his soap idol!”
Kyle: I’m all kind of struck right now…I’m sorry getting all red over here.
Stephen: (smiling) It’s alright, it’s alright.
Transcript of Cameo
(The surprise was taped before Kyle came out to be interviewed. He thought he was going to be taping a promo for the show but instead the show surprised him and brought Stephen in.)
Stephen walks in with his hand over his eye.
S: Hey, dude.
K: Hey, what’s going on?
(Shaking hands.)
S: What’s goin on dude?
K: Hey, I’m Kyle.
S: I’m Stephen.
K: Hey, I didn’t recognize you without the patch.
S: This wasn’t good enough for you?
K: They sprung this on me. How you doing, man?
S: Great.
K: I’m all kind of struck right now.
S: So you’re my old boss’s son on Days of our Lives?
K: Ya. Mr…Mr. Victor Kiriakis.
S: Kick his butt for me.
K: I’m trying, I’m trying, but he’s kind of a hard edge.
(Kyle waves his fingers in front of his face)
K: Pardon the crimson and everything, but I wasn’t expecting…
S: It’s all right.
S: Well, it so good to meet you.
K: You too, man. It’s such a pleasure. I mean honestly. I used to watch you growing up and everything. This is very, very, very cool. Not how I would’ve scripted it exactly.
S: (laughs) You don’t need a script. Good for you.
K: Thanks a lot, seriously. Very cool of you Stephen.

Lisa Rinna: That’s very cute.
K: My face was the color of Ty’s shirt (Ty is wearing a red shirt). I was very blown away. I thought I was in there to say, “Next time on Soaptalk”, and then he walked in and it was….ooof. It was fun.
